Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing
When you go to the store to buy salad dressing it’s often filled with emulsifiers, preservatives, and seed oils. When you look for the organic ones they often still have some iffy ingredients or they end up being $8+ So I made it my mission to start creating my favorite dressings and sauces. Here is my take on a creamy Caesar salad dressing, if you prefer a little thinner of a dressing just add a bit of filtered water 1-3Tbsp to your liking.
1 cup Mayo (make your own or get seed oil free brand like Chosen brand)
2 tsp Anchovies or wild caught anchovy paste
1.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce or shoyu
1.5 tsp Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp Lemon juice
3-5 cloves Garlic to taste
½ cup to 1 cup grated Parmesan
Salt & Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together- stir, shake, blend- and voilà. You have a 2 week shelf stable Caesar dressing that YOU made yourself!
To see the comparison:
Mine:
🧄 Garlic – real flavor, antimicrobial
🐟 Anchovies – omega-3s, natural umami
🥚 Avocado oil mayo – no seed oils
🍋 Lemon juice – not “citric acid”
🧀 Parmesan – actual cheese
🍜 Soy sauce (or aminos) – clean umami boost
🧂 Salt + pepper – that’s it
Store-bought:
🚨 Canola or soybean oil
🚨 Water as filler
🚨 Powdered eggs
🚨 Parmesan “flavor”
🚨 Gums, sugars, and preservatives
🚨 “Natural flavors” (aka mystery)
Real food > fake flavor every time.
Save this and never go back to the bottle. 🥗✨
